Floating Flower Cardi

I am in love with this cardi.
I wear it every chance I get.  I’m sure all my friends and family are getting tired of seeing me in it.
I should make another one out of Jersey fabric.  Would be great to wear for spring.
Anyway, here we go.

Flowers! Flowers and more flowers.
 Spring is here.

More flowers…
This is how I made them….

Had some black knit fabric on hand. I just fan folded it.

I would say my folds were about an inch and a half wide.  The bigger your folds the bigger your flowers will be.

So it’s really up to you on how you want yours to look.

I marked out my shape with chalk and went to town with my scissors.

I cut a lot of flower shapes out of black knit fabric and placed all around the cardi.

Pinned and pinched all those flower shapes to the cardi until I was happy with the look.

Stitched in place and remove the pins.  Now time for the other side.

  12. Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content
seem to be running off the screen in Ie. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I
thought I’d post to let you know. The design look great though!
Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers
