Embellished Spring time shirt

I found these two turquoise t-shirts at Target for $1.48 each on the clearance rack.  Score!  I was going to cut up one and add ruffles to the bottom of the shirt and make it into a spring dress.  But got a different idea to embellish them with some simple flowers and an applique…
Plain Tee.  Pressed it with an iron and hand tacked some cute pink flowers onto the shoulder.  The ballerina Tee was some dance print fabric I had on hand, so I cut the dancer out and used some of that Heat n Bond (you can find it at the fabric store or at Walmart).  Ironed it onto the dancer and then ironed it onto the Tee.  I like to top stitch around the edges.  It gives is more of a finished look
New flower Tee.  Have fun and be creative.
