Lacey Lace Shirt

I’m totally in love with anything Lacey, (my daughter’s name) romantic and feminine.  I also got some of the inspiration from a summer top I had seen in Victoria Secret catalog.  I had a
large bag of lace trim and I just went to town.  Placed the lace in all different directions and ways to finally come up with what I liked.  What do you think.  Not bad for free.  Huh!

Started out with:
white shirt form my closet
lace trim
pins
scissors
sewing machine

Layed out all my lace out.  Overlapping each of them onto the next layer.  Pined in place and ran a straight stitch across the top of the lace.  I started at the bottom of the shirt and matched up the side seams of the top with the end of my lace piece.  I trimmed the lace at an angle and had each layer get shorter and shorter so the pieces would form a triangle up toward the neckline.
This is what you get when finished.
So any who hope your Easter was fabulous.
 Have a great day.
