I made a blog button & I’m very versatile

I learned how to make a blog button over the weekend!  Woo hoo!  Happy dance going on over here…  If you don’t know how to make one and want to learn you can visit Blogging With Amy for a step by step tutorial.

  Now on to the Versatile Blogger Award…

I started my blog about a year ago.  Mostly because I love sew and create things but also because all my kids were in school and momma was home all alone.  I didn’t really know how to handle the new transition in my life.  This has given me something to look forward to every day.  Getting to share my ideas with all of you… And hopefully you like them.

I want to thank  The Reinvented Lass for giving me this blogging award.  She has some great stuff about dancing, budgeting, and crafts over on her blog you should really check out…

Okay now I am supposed to nominate 15 other blogs that I like to pass on this award to them.  This I think is the hardest thing to do because there are so many great ones out there.  15 that’s a lot for me to narrow it down too!

1. Lookie what I did   This girl has some amazing organizing projects along with great wreaths for your front door too.

2. Crafting in the rain   Her ideas and projects are awesome…  Simple solutions to just about anything.  Plus she just did a post on duck tape boots.  Amazing!

3. Twigg studios  This is a blog that has the most beautiful designs and projects you would see in a West Elm Catalog or at a Pottery Barn Store.  It is just a great blog to see pretty things that inspire me to make my home prettier.

4. Moma’s me Time She is just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and here blog is a very cute place to find fashion stuff, home decor projects and what it’s like to me a new mommy.

5. Biblical home making  This girl is amazing!  Not only does she have 4 kids but she is super cute, stylish, and frugal.  Her outfits are unbelievable.  Great stuff!

6. Head Above water  Lori has some great ideas over at her blog.  Painting, decorating, and even some sewing projects.  Really great stuff you should check it out.

7. Use the Good Dishes This is a blog with lots of fun stuff to do and see.  I love to see what she is up to next.

8. Captivated by the beauty of Grace What a beautiful girl Erin is inside and out.  She makes me strive to be better person.  I would have to say that her blog makes me smile when I read it.

9. Because I’m Frugal  Jody is amazing!  She has 6 kids and they are all home-schooled.  She also has more than one blog.  OMG!  I love to see all of her great money-saving ideas.

10. Mommy Scraps a lot  I just love looking at Tina’s scrap booking projects and they are not just for scrapbooks.  Lots of great ideas over at her blog to check out.

11. These Peas Taste Funny  I just love to see what this lady is up to.  Great recipes and knitting projects on this blog to see.

12. House Talkn Kerry is a supper funny lady and she takes the most beautiful photos.

13. Grace and ivy This another one of those really pretty blogs that I love to look at.  Great inspiration and information on blogging.

14. Mommy Kangaroo  This girl has lots of great DIY projects for baby and good mom tips too.

15. Thrifty Talk Cheryl has some great tips and tricks on saving money and re-purposing items for your home.

• I hate surprises
• I’m a very shy and quiet person
• I’m a control freak ( I think I need to do everything )
• I procrastinate too much
• Wish I would have finished  my Dental hygiene schooling ( got pregnant and wanted to be a SAHM)
• I am a certified interior decorator ( but never made a career out of it )
• Got two tattoos  over the summer and can’t wait to get another ( Crazy huh!)
