5 accessories from a T~shirt

Now I know your probably thinking Yeah right!

 No way could she get 5 accessories from a T~shirt…  But I did and they are super simple and cute…

1. Braided belt
2. Bow barrette
3. Book bag
4. Rolled rose headband
5. Rolled rose bracelet

Three rolled roses are glued together. I then glued a strip of craft interfacing to the back for stability and a strip of t~shirt was also added to the back so I could tie it onto my wrist.

These little t~shirt hair bows are super simple.  All you have to do is make a bow and add a little snap barrette to the back.  That’s it!

Super duper cute book bag has just a little bit of sewing required to make it.  A few slits cut in the tee for the strap and just for a fun look.  If you want to see more on how to make one of these T~shirt bags you can check it out a Delia creates.

If you like to sew, craft, play with your kids then you really need to see what fun project she has to offer.

I love this headband!  All you have to do is cut off the sleeve of the shirt and the hem off the arm hole.  Stretch it a little and apply some rolled rose flowers over the seam with hot glue.

 This headband stays in place too.

This braided belt is a 4 strand braid.  It took me a few tries to figure it out but once you do it’s a really nice and chunky looking braid.  I like it.
