I told you all I would attempt to accomplish at least one of the 5 fun things to make this weekend. Well I got a little sidetracked and this is the only thing that I was able to do. The funny thing about it is, it didn’t turn out exactly the way I’d pictured it in my head.

I started out painting all my nails with a pretty glitter polish by NYC #130 Classic Coral Cream. My pointer finger I painted with NYC #109A Pink Promenade Cream. I wanted a nice solid color for the base underneath my silver/gray stripes.
Let the main color nail polish dry. I thought I would try out this trick I have been seeing all over Pintrest with the Scotch tape. Put the tape on in a stripe pattern and painted over the it with my silver polish. I got it everywhere.
This is what I got after I took off the strips of tape.
An ugly mess!
Not a project I will try again anytime soon.
I will just have to go to the salon to have this done.
Anyway I did get one thing done this weekend that I wanted too.
