Patriotic Pillows

I had this needed to have some kind of 4th of July decor for the holiday so why not some simple Patriotic pillows.

I’m really bad about decorating for the holidays.  Usually I change it up just for the seasons. Christmas decorating is a must but all the other little holidays are not a priority.   It just seems like they get here faster than I can get any re~decorating accomplished.

Pillows are one of the simplest sewing project to try if you have never sewn anything before.

  •  Just two squares or rectangles and sew them together.
  • Making sure to sew them with right sides facing each other and leaving a small opening for stuffing.
  •  Turn it right side out and stuff your pillow.
  •   Stitch it closed and done!

Now I can put my new Patriotic Pillows on my patio furniture and celebrate Independence day.  It’s so nice we get to sit by the pool and see the firework show that the town we live in puts on.

Cool huh!
