30 Rocks Box!

Like usual I had this really long list of handmade gifts I wanted to make for my little sister’s birthday next week…  She’s turning 30!  I’m sure she wont appreciate that I’m telling all of you that.

 Oh well, whatever!

I’m finding out that my 30’s are turning out to be pretty fun.

Anyway, my plan was to make everything for her.  Well I ran out of time.  I know you all have been there too.  Right?

Oh, please don’t tell me I’m the only one.

Instead of having all handmade items I decided to gathered a few things I had around the house that I thought she would like.  I wanted to have 30 items to put into the box to represent how old she was turning.  I did have to run out the store (Target) and gathered up the rest of the items I thought would be great to add to her

30 Rocks Box!

What’s in the box:

  1. Beach towel
  2. White wine
  3. Mini photo book
  4. Book
  5. Embellished flip-flops (made)
  6. Towel clip
  7. Sunglasses case
  8. Box of crackers
  9. Pepper jelly (made)
  10. Travel tumbler
  11. Lip gloss
  12. Tanning lotion
  13. gum
  14. lip stick
  15. travel lotion
  16. nail polish
  17. Flower hair tie (made)
  18. Headband (made)
  19. journal
  20. pen
  21. Sugar body scrub (made)
  22. tissue pack
  23. Business card holder
  24. Earrings
  25. T~shirt bracelet (made)
  26. Beaded bracelet ( made by drama queen)
  27. panties
  28. panties  (who doesn’t like new pretty panties)
  29. panties
  30. panties

I started out by placing all my really large items in the box first.  With tissue paper on the bottom of the box and some bubble wrap for the bottle to rest on.

She had to help.  Of course!

Do you think she will like it?

I know that if she did this for me I would be super excited.  Nothing was super expensive but the thought of what to put in the box and to make sure I had 30 items was a lot of fun.  You could so do this project with any birthday number.
