It has been so windy here in the desert that we have had to wear our hair up and out-of-the-way for a few weeks. Otherwise we will be fighting the tangles like crazy. Not something we like to deal with especially the Drama Queen. So what better opportunity than right now to practice some new hair-do’s…
1. part hair to the side of the head you want your braid to be on
2. pick up a small section of hair
3. start a regular french braid pulling in small pieces from each side and adding it into braid
4. stop braiding when you get just behind the ear
5. gather up extra hair along with braid and secure with an elastic
6. twist the elastic several times making sure on the last one to only pull the hair half way through.
7. secure messy bun with a few pins
Just thought I would give you all a good laugh and share some blooper pictures.
Very nice….and practical!

I love braids too. Usually I just pull my hair into a low side braid and off I go. Thanks for such a nice comment.
