DIY Sequin Cardigan

To make this shirt into a cardigan I folded it in half and cut straight down the center.  Then cut off the sleeve band because it was to tight around my arm and I didn’t really like the way it looked.  Using my overlock machine I serged  the unfinished edges of the arm holes and up the center opening.  Pressed the edge under 1/2 inch and then 1 inch to make a nice neat hem on the cardigan.  Pinned it and then topstitched into place.

Come take a look at some of the other posts during my 30 days of t-shirts starting here.
